Kennedy
Mulgravian since 2009
Driven | Leader | Thinker
Commerce | UBC
Surrounded by entrepreneurs in her family, Kennedy knew her post-graduation path would lead her to pursue business studies. Additionally, participation in Mulgrave’s YELL Programme and her Grade 7 GEx experience solidified her choice. Kennedy credits her university counsellor for exposing her to all of her options, within Canada and abroad. She has chosen to study at UBC: “I think having a business degree is versatile and will give me a good foundation for any direction that I wish to pursue afterwards.”
Gabriel
Mulgravian since 2011
Philosopher | Poet | Pragmatist
Liberal Arts | Brown University
While on a family trip, Gabe visited a bookstore and spent the entire time in a corner with all the philosophy books; it was at that moment he knew what he was truly passionate about. “I wanted to find a place where I would be academically challenged within a culture I would enjoy. I am very fond of my time at Mulgrave, and have also watched my two siblings along the same journey - Mulgrave has helped us all grow as individuals.” As Gabe embarks on the next chapter of his academic journey, he will head south of the border to pursue a dual degree in economics and philosophy. He thanks his teachers for always being open to sharing their own experiences and helpful opinions.
Jada
Mulgravian since 2010
Creative | Ambitious | Kind
Communications | Loyola Marymount University
As she moves forward, Jada plans to study liberal arts with a major in communications and a minor in dance at university in California. Her deep passion for arts and DEIJ-related advocacy work have uniquely positioned her to excel in a diverse and inclusive academic environment. “I knew I didn’t want to stay in Vancouver, so I was looking for options abroad that would allow me to pursue something creative in a small, intimate classroom setting.” Jada is grateful to have had her university and careers counsellor in her corner, helping to ensure her essay applications were accurate reflections of the individual that she is.

Programme Options
Our Senior students may choose to follow either the IB Diploma Programme or an Enriched Pathway to graduation. In the Enriched Pathway, they customise their programme with selected IB courses and BC Provincial courses in order to pursue their commitments to athletics, the arts, or other interests. These students benefit from the rigour of our IB programme and create a balance that allows them to manage demands on their time while excelling in other areas of their education.
