Each year, families are asked to give a gift to Momentum, Mulgrave's Annual Fund. Our hope is that all our families make a donation at a level that is meaningful to them every year that they are at the school.
The funds will go to special initiatives that have been identified by our leadership team. In the 2021-22 academic year, we will focus on Head’s Priority, Teacher Development, and Student Scholarships and Financial Assistance.
Annual contributions to Momentum not only show community support for our strategic plan, but also allow the administration to plan ahead for the year, to meet the wishes of our departments and teaching staff.
Donations to Momentum will be allocated to a Head’s Discretionary Fund to take advantage of opportunities and support the school’s priorities. Unrestricted funding gives the school the most flexibility so that we can adapt to changing circumstances as they arise.
Although traditionally at Mulgrave we have needed large gifts to meet the fundraising goals of our capital campaigns, we are now shifting to a model that is more sustainable and gives every family the ability to contribute in whatever way is meaningful to them.
All gifts to our annual fund will be used to support the initiatives that both John Wray and the faculty have identified as priorities. So yes, each and every gift will make a difference to all of our students.
While we do ask that you put Mulgrave on your philanthropic priority list and have suggested gift amounts on our donation form, gifts of all sizes are celebrated and valued. Participation is the most important part of annual giving and culture of philanthropy at Mulgrave.
