Each year, families will be asked to give a gift to Momentum, Mulgrave's Annual Fund. The funds will go to special projects and initiatives that have been identified by our leadership team. In the 2019-2020 academic year, we will focus on teacher retention and development, classroom resources and equipment, and scholarships through our endowment fund.
Our greatest wish is that our families make a donation at a level that is meaningful to them every year that they are at the school. With this support, we can continue to enrich the provision we give to each of our students.
Momentum - Mulgrave's Annual Fund - has been developed to support the school’s priorities each year. This fundraising appeal will allow the Head of School to designate funding to areas where it is needed most: scholarships and financial assistance, classroom resources and equipment, and teacher development and retention.
Donations to Momentum will be allocated to a Head’s Discretionary Fund to take advantage of opportunities and support the school’s priorities. Unrestricted funding gives the school the most flexibility so that we can adapt to changing circumstances as they arise.
Although traditionally at Mulgrave we have needed large gifts to meet the fundraising goals of our capital campaigns, we are now shifting to a model that is more sustainable and gives every family the ability to contribute in whatever way is meaningful to them.
All gifts to our annual fund will be used to support the initiatives that both John Wray and the faculty have identified as priorities. So yes, each and every gift will make a difference to all of our students.
