Donor Impact
Below, you'll find updates on how donations have made a positive, long-lasting impact on our students.
Named for our very first Head of School, the Linder Hamer Theatre is one of the original parts of the school. After more than 20 years of use, the sound, lighting, and associated control systems became outdated and inadequate for the ambitious productions desired by our performing arts students.
In 2022, Momentum donors funded a new produce garden and greenhouse for Upper School students. One of the students who benefitted from this new resource was so inspired by the learning experiences, that she championed the idea for our Junior School to have a similar student garden.
We've successfully completed funding for the Diversity and Indigenous Literacy programme! Our Kindergarten to Grade 2 students will have access to a guided literacy programme which focusses on phonetics 'decoding' and stories with a greater variety of cultures and family narratives.
Virtual Reality (VR) is an emerging technology that can help prepare students for the digital age and future careers. Thanks to the Momentum annual fund, we were able to obtain a complete class set of 22 VR headsets.
With the support of our generous Momentum donors, Junior School Physical Education teacher Erika Jenkins was able to complete a Masters degree in Teaching and Learning.
Mulgravians have always danced to the beat of our own drums! Two Mulgrave families have enabled us to add some new colourful and creative musical playground instruments to various Early Years and Junior School locations.
