Summer Early Years for 4 and 5 Year Olds

We welcome all PK4 and Kindergartners to Summer Early Years! We are excited to offer a half-day Early Year Explorers camp to introduce young students to the inquiry-based, hands-on approach to learning they will encounter in the fall. Taking place in the first two weeks of our Mulgrave Summer Programme, students will be introduced to a variety of concepts through exploration and while participating in fun and engaging learning opportunities. Our small group size will allow our young students to build confidence and develop the social skills that will support a successful start to our EY Programme.

Each day, we will immerse students in a new theme, from Colour Day, where we experiment with various art materials, to Adventure Day where we explore the outdoors and see what we can find in nature. Be prepared to get messy and dress appropriately for each day (weather/activity).

*For students ages 4-5 entering PK4 and Kindergarten in the fall

*Please note:

  • Students may register for one morning and one afternoon (entering Kindergarten only) session.  All students should bring a water bottle and snack.
  • Full-day Kindergartners (attending both morning and afternoon sessions) must bring 2 snacks for recess, packed lunch, and a water bottle. Lunch for purchase is not available to Kindergarteners; After Camp Care is also not available for Kindergartners.
  • Mulgrave’s current and entering students have priority. Non-Mulgrave families will need to meet (virtually or in person) with a member of the Summer Programme staff to review expectations. We will contact you to set up an appointment.
