Hygiene and Safety Guidelines

Mulgrave School endeavors to offer a safe experience for campers during the COVID-19 response phase. As such, we have developed camps with the following guidelines in mind:

  • Families will be asked to complete a health self assessment prior to coming to camp each day.
  • Families are expected to comply with Government of Canada travel restrictions and quarantine measures.
  • There will be a maximum of 12 students per camp for students aged 5-11, and groups of 15 max for older students. Social distancing measures will be supported in classrooms.

  • Parents will remain in cars for pick up and drop off. Students will be collected from the curbside by camp leaders in the morning and delivered to cars at the end of camp.

  • There will be no sharing of resources during camps. Each child will be given their own supplies in their own sealed container that is not shared with other students.

  • All areas used by campers will be cleaned at the end of each day.

  • There will be no large group interactions in any area of the school. Breaks, including lunch, will occur in small groups.

  • There will be no lunch or snack program.

  • There are no off-campus trips being planned for as part of the summer programming.

Further details will be provided to registered families via email prior to the beginning of their session.
