During times like these, it is all the more important that we foster our school value of community service. We encourage you to have family discussions about the broader impact of COVID-19, centered around questions such as: Who might be most vulnerable to the spread of this virus, both locally and globally? What are some impacts of the virus, other than getting sick? What will happen to students in schools where eLearning is not an option or for those that do not have access to computers or the internet? How can we help someone in need?
Many of our students, through clubs such as Senior School Action Council, in small groups, or independently, have engaged in community activities. Please see details on their projects below, and support as you are able; many of the initiatives are suitable for involvement of students of all ages...right down to our youngest Mulgravians!
If you have other ideas or initiatives, please reach out to SSAC by contacting Ellyana B (Gr 10) or Angela L (Gr 11).
