Pam Goldsmith-Jones

Pamela Goldsmith-Jones is a longtime resident and former Mayor of West Vancouver. She was elected as Member of Parliament for the West Vancouver/Sunshine Coast/Sea to Sky region in 2015. For twenty years, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to citizen engagement. She is known as a bridge-builder, bringing diverse views together through her open and inclusive approach to the creation and implementation of public policy.

In 2011, Pamela retired from municipal politics to open her own consulting business and pursue an executive MBA from Simon Fraser University in Aboriginal Business and Leadership. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in political science from the University of British Columbia. In Ottawa, as well as being our MP, she is Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne. She served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs from December 2015 to January 2017, which took her around the world representing Canada in areas as diverse as: Arctic Policy; Women, Peace and Security; the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development; and Canada’s agreement with Jordan regarding our mission in Syria, to name a few. Pamela and her husband, Geoff, have been married for 32 years and have three adult children.
