Kathy McLaughlin

Kathy McLaughlin works as a strategic consultant helping CEOs, boards and their teams to align vision, strategy, and execution. Prior to establishing her consulting practice in 2007, Kathy spent 15 years in executive roles in marketing, sales, and operations with Rogers Communications Inc., Fido Solutions Ltd., and Robeez Footwear Ltd. She also spent four years as a partner with a top executive search firm, Odgers Berndtson (now Boyden Executive Search). She is an advanced level Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Family Enterprise Advisor™ (FEA); and is trained in change management, strategic planning, family enterprise development, conflict resolution, mediation, and assessment tools including 360 evaluations, Myers-Briggs, and ASSESS®.

Kathy has served as director and chair on numerous boards and advisory councils for private companies, not for profit and public sector boards, including BC Trade Corporation, the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company (Chair), InspireHealth and Healing for Cancer. She is a graduate of the University of BC (BA), the Ivey School of Business (Advanced Management Programme for Technology Businesses), Royal Roads University (Graduate Certificate Executive Coaching) and Sauder School of Business (Family Enterprise Advisor).
