Harry Wierenga

Harry and his wife, Janice Wells, have been part of the Mulgrave community since 1996, with three daughters having graduated in 2007, 2009, and 2016. Harry served on the Mulgrave Board from 1997 to 2003 as Treasurer, and was responsible for arranging the construction financing of the school that opened in September 2001. He rejoined the Mulgrave Board as Chair in November 2012, seeing the new Senior School to completion in 2015. After having served on the National Board of Directors as Treasurer for Kids Help Phone for six years, Harry recently joined their Vancouver office as Director for the BC/Yukon region, overseeing local fundraising initiatives for the organisation.

Harry previously worked with BMO Financial Group having held senior management positions in Toronto and Vancouver in Corporate and Government Banking, Corporate Finance, and BMO Harris Private Banking. Harry has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and holds a CPA - CMA designation with the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
