Visual Arts
The visual arts at Mulgrave are vibrant and inspiring. We value the opportunity to enrich students’ day-to-day school experience by exposing them to the joys of artistic expression.
We believe our students should:
- Express themselves creatively and develop their individual voice as artists
- Use a variety of artistic mediums and techniques, taught in a sequential manner, so they have a well-rounded skill set to continue engaging in visual arts when they leave Mulgrave
- Engage in increasingly student-driven projects, making the programme challenging and rewarding
- Use creative divergent and convergent thinking strategies
- Further their involvement in art at Mulgrave through the Creative Arts Council, contests, and exhibition opportunities
- Visit galleries, local exhibitions, and work with professional artists
