Athletics

Starting in Early Years, athletics is encouraged and celebrated; it is a fundamental component of our approach to wellbeing and the IB curriculum.

The programme focusses on developing gross motor skills, strength, stamina and coordination with a goal of inspiring a love of movement for health and wellbeing. Teamwork and collaboration are also developed and practiced through group activities and games.

In addition to regular classes per week (2 for PK3/PK4 and 4 for Kindergarten) with a specialist teacher, all students participate in our annual Terry Fox Run, Jump Rope for Heart, and sports day. Parents, guardians, grandparents, and loved ones are very welcome to participate in or volunteer at these special events.
