2020-21 Cafeteria Service

Dana Hospitality continues to provide Mulgrave students with healthy and delicious food service options, under strict food-safety guidelines. Lunch service is available for all students, and morning recess snacks are also available for Upper School (Grades 7-12). 

Please see the information below by grade level for purchase processes.



Grades 7-12 students may pre-order lunch items to guarantee availability. Simply email by 10:00am. Details are in the Upper School section below.


Q: I am not receiving Munch a Lunch order confirmations by email. What should I do?
A: Check your Spam or Junk folder. The emails come from 'Mulgrave Admin'. 

Q: What happens if I placed an order on Munch a Lunch and my child is absent?
A: If you need to change or cancel your order, you can do so in the Munch a Lunch system if it's before the deadline. Otherwise, please email to cancel an order. Cancellations received by 8:00am on the same day will be credited to the family's Munch A Lunch profile.

Q: Can I place an order for multiple children in my household at the same time?
A: Yes, you can order for family members in K and JS all at once. You just need to add each child to your Munch a Lunch profile and then you can order for each of them. You can also pay for all weekly orders in one transaction.

Q: Why don't I see the menu I need on the Munch a Lunch website?
A: Orders open one week in advance and close on the day of lunch service at 8:00am. The menu for the coming week is posted on Friday afternoon.

Q: I can't seem to place an order in Munch a Lunch; it seems like there is something wrong with my account.
A: You must pay for your previous week's order before you can place a new one. If that's not the issue, please reach out to for assistance.

Q: Why does the school need two account systems for lunch orders?
A: Only students in Grades 7-12 are able to go to the cafeteria to pick up food purchases (pre-orders are not required starting September 28th). As such, they need to utilise the Dana Hospitality account system; cash cannot be accepted. Kindergarten and Junior School students must pre-order so meals can be delivered to their classrooms. They use the Munch a Lunch system to do so.

Q: Can I transfer funds between my children's Dana accounts?
A: Yes! Simply log in to your Dana account here and click Transfer next to the name of the child you want to transfer funds from. Complete the fields with the amount and child you would like to transfer to.

Q: What if my child has dietary restrictions?
A: Please email and include your child's name, and grade. You can also note dietary restrictions and allergies in your child's Munch a Lunch profile.
