Grade 5 Exhibition - May 16th
The exhibition was a wonderful opportunity for the Grade 5 students to share their PYP learning with the community. Over the last few weeks, they have been busy exploring topics related to various global issues, working collaboratively to construct meaning and developing ways in which to express their understanding creatively. The students chose to do a metaphorical art piece to convey their main idea and express their feelings and understandings about the issue they explored. We were very proud of their efforts and the way in which they interacted with their audience. They spoke with enthusiasm and conviction, and were true agents of their learning. - Tish Jolley, JS Vice Principal/PYP Coordinator
