BAKING BUFFET & STAFF APPRECIATION DAY

The annual Baking Buffet is one of our favourite days of the year. Faculty and staff genuinely appreciate the time and effort of our parents.

The buffet will take place on December 6th from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The MVP needs more volunteers to bake and help out with event activities. Click the links to get involved:

SENIOR SCHOOL PRODUCTION: THE CHILDREN'S HOUR

Our Senior School cast members have been working hard rehearsing for this year's production, The Children's Hour. It would mean a great deal to them to have the support of our community at their play.

The Children's Hour was written in 1934, but the story is even more relevant today. The students will bring to life the devastating consequences of gossip and rumours.

We hope you and your family can join us for this thought-provoking performance.

NIGHT OF THE NOTABLES

The Night of the Notables is a long-standing tradition for the Grade 8s. Students will be highlighting their understanding of a notable — a historical or contemporary figure who made (or is making) an impact. They will be in character, taking on the role of a person of note on stage and beyond. This year's theme is 'Think Tank' to address the pressing issue of how we can change the world.

You are all invited to attend the evening and show your support for our students, while also voting for the 'Notable of the Year'! #NOTN17

MITTEN DRIVE

Every year during the holiday season, the ELC staff and students hold a 'Mitten Tree Drive'. The Mitten Tree is a fundraising event that encourages families to hang new or handmade mittens, scarves, and/or hats on our ELC Christmas Tree. All items will be donated to a local shelter where children in need will be able to keep warm over the chilly winter months.

The tree will be located in the upstairs ELC and will begin on Monday, Dec. 4th. We encourage all families to help with the drive. Thank you!
