G10 Personal Projects

Whether starting a business, creating a website, fundraising for a charity building instruments or curating a music compilation, all projects are unique and as varied as each of the students working on them. We interviewed several students about their work - a major undertaking, requiring significant hours of work over an extended period of time. They all agreed that, above all, they have seen great value in having undertaken a project that was of great personal interest. "You will be dedicating a great number of hours and effort to the project so it is best if it is something that incorporates a passion or a personal goal," shared Ethan L.

Ethan launched a social enterprise called Dryft. Dryft sells home decor products Ethan makes out of beautiful driftwood and fallen trees. All proceeds of Dryft sales go to the Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES). You can learn more about Dryft here.
