Celebrating YOU, our community! Each year on November 15th, we celebrate National Philanthropy Day to recognize a variety of good deeds and generous contributions of time, knowledge and resources that donors, volunteers, leaders, foundations, corporations and others engage in, to improve the lives of people close to us and across the globe.

Each one of you supports our school, neighbourhoods, city, country and our world in so many different ways - from our students picking up garbage along a shoreline or building communities in Kenya, to parents helping in the school Library or sitting on the board of a charity - we are all CHANGEMAKERS.

On this National Philanthropy Day we tip our hats off to each one of you. You make our school community and our world a better place. PS. Did you know that American President Ronald Reagan proclaimed November 15th as National Philanthropy Day in the year 1986? Since then, Canada and many other countries have officially marked this day to recognize the philanthropic contributions of their citizens.
