Mulgrave Holiday Baking Buffet and Staff Appreciation Day
WHEN: Wednesday December 7th, 2016
This Wednesday, December 7th we will be taking a moment to collectively celebrate the great work our teachers and staff do on a daily basis with an annual event called the Holiday Baking Buffet and Staff Appreciation Day. It is an opportunity to share something personal from our heart and homes by baking for them.
We are looking for 2-4 dozens baked goodies such as festive cookies, brownies, bars, squares, tarts and cakes per family, about 1'' each in size. No-bake options like brittle, bark, macaroons, fudge, candied nuts, almond roca are also welcome. Most of these goodies will be assembled into beautiful gift boxes which are then given to every staff member to take home to savour for the holidays. The remainder will be used to create an amazing Baking Buffet for all the staff to enjoy. It is a joyful day filled with smiles, music, cider and calories. It truly is an event with heart.
We will be collecting all goodies at both Junior School and Upper School parking lot on the date and time shown below:
- Tuesday December 6th: 7:45am-9:30am and 2:30pm-4pm
- Wednesday December 7th: 7:30am-8:30am
Store-bought baked goods or cash contributions are also welcome. If you wish to make a cash contribution instead, please drop it off in an envelope marked "Holiday Baking Buffet" in the box outside the Junior School office or at the main reception of school no later than Tuesday, December 6th. If you would like to write a cheque, please make it payable to Mulgrave School. Please note that we will not be able to provide a tax receipt.
