The Lester B. Pearsons International Scholarships provides an unparalleled opportunity for outstanding international students to study at the University of Toronto. The scholarship programme is intended to recognise students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and who are recognised as leaders within their school. A special emphasis is placed on the impact the student has hand on the life of their school and community, and their future potential to contribute positively to the global community. Once awarded, students will have their tuition, books and incidental fees covered, along with full residence support for four years.

To become a Pearson Scholar, you must be nominated by Mulgrave and apply to undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto.

Eligibility - To be eligible to apply to the Pearson International Scholarship, you must be:

• an international student
• currently in your final year of secondary school
• beginning your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2017.

To be considered for nomination, interested Grade 12 students are to submit a 2-3 paragraph write-up on why he/she believes he/she is the ideal candidate. Once received submissions from all interested parties, a selection process will be completed in order to determine the nominee. Please email submissions to Ms. Tang by November 1, 2016.
