Cafeteria

Dana Hospitality provides Mulgrave students with healthy and delicious food service options, under strict food-safety guidelines.

Lunch service is available for all students and is included in the preschool programme fees. For Kindergarten to Grade 12, cafeteria meals are optional and available for purchase. Students in preschool to Grade 2 have cafeteria lunches delivered to their classrooms; in Grade 3, students come to the cafeteria for lunch and make their selections.

Morning recess snacks are also available for purchase for Upper School (Grades 6-12), as are after school snack for those who stay for extra-curricular activities.

More information on Cafeteria can be found in the My Mulgrave portal, under the Resources section.

Friendlier Containers

As of the fall of 2024, our cafeteria will be using reusable blue containers for all to-go food items and plates and cutlery for dine-in. Once children have finished their meals, they will be able to return them to the designated blue bins around the school for them to be sanitized and reused. If a student does not finish their lunch, they will be able to take the container back home and return it the next day. We kindly ask parents that if they find a blue container at home, please return it to Mulgrave so it is properly sanitised and reused.
This initiative supports our sustainable efforts and will contribute to reducing our food waste, reduce plastic, and produce fewer emissions.

FAQs

Q: Why does the school need two account systems for lunch orders?
A: Only students in Grades 3-12 are able to go to the cafeteria to pick up food purchases. As such, they need to utilise the Dana Hospitality account system; cash cannot be accepted. Kindergarten-Grade 2 students must pre-order so meals can be delivered to their classrooms. They use the Munch a Lunch system to do so.

Q: Can I transfer funds between my children's Dana accounts?
A: Yes! Simply log in to your Dana account here and click Transfer next to the name of the child you want to transfer funds from. Complete the fields with the amount and child you would like to transfer to.

Q: What if my child has dietary restrictions?
A: Please email caf@mulgrave.com and include your child's name, and grade. You can also note dietary restrictions and allergies in your child's Munch a Lunch profile.
