EY Playdate at Dundarave Beach

Join fellow Early Years Families for a playdate at Dundarave Beach (near the Beach House Restaurant) on Saturday, August 19th from 11:00am to noon. No need to RSVP, just come out for a casual gathering with your beach toys and sunscreen (we hope!).

It is a requirement of Vancouver Coastal Health that preschool families sign their child in and out each day (please use the sheet at the classroom door).

Our entrances have been named for local trees, and you can find a map here.

PK4 Ravens: Enter through the Fir entrance and walk up the stairs in front of you, turning right at the top. Walk along the corridor until you reach classroom 3008 on the right. Please park in the upper parking lot (behind the school, near the forest).
PK4 Hummingbirds, PK4 Beavers, PK3 Dolphins and PK3 Bumblebees: For drop off and pick up, please enter through the exterior classroom doors via the EY playground (next to the Spruce Entrance). Please park in the main parking lot (on the ocean side of the school or in a visitor’s spot underground).

For families with children in various grades, please drop off in the parking lot location/entrance of your youngest; older students may use the closest entrance. To reduce traffic congestion, please do not drive to multiple parking lots.

Goh Ballet

Pre-Primary Ballet & Creative Dance
PK4 and K (ages 4 – 5 years)

Location: Mulgrave Dance Studio
Tuesdays 3:15 – 4:30pm, beginning September 19th
Fee: $1,942.50 (3 terms)

Goh Ballet is dedicated to bringing the enchantment of ballet to Mulgrave students, utilising captivating themes, mesmerizing music, delightful props, and graceful movements derived from iconic ballets and fairy tales. Students will acquire a solid foundation in ballet, learning fundamental concepts such as introductory steps, ballet terminology, musicality, focus, and expressive techniques. Throughout the year, students will experience growth in strength, coordination, and self-confidence as they engage in classes specifically designed to facilitate progressive technical advancement. To ensure a seamless experience, our tuition includes the provision of
uniforms, costumes, and applicable taxes.

To register:

1) New students need to create a family profile on Goh Ballet’s Parent Portal (Jackrabbit)
2) Once your account is set up, log into the Parent Portal and ‘search’ for new classes
3) Select the appropriate class level for your child and follow the instructions to enrol

After School Care

PK3 and PK4:

Students will stay in the Early Years Multi-Purpose Room. This fee-based service is prioritised for working parents. Please email Tashana Auyong if you are interested.

Kindergarten:

Our Junior School provides licensed After School Care for Kindergarten to Grade 4 students. All students who are in Kindergarten to Grade 4 must attend After School Care if they are not picked up by their parents/caregivers after dismissal.

After School Care is complimentary until 4:00pm. From 4:00-5:00pm, the cost is a flat rate of $15/day. After 5:00pm, there is an additional cost of $1.00/min. Families are invoiced at the end of every month.

Junior School Student Supplies

For all Junior School years, supplies are provided by the school for students. Students need only provide a backpack (black or navy; no logos) and a lunch kit. Please be sure to label these items with your child's first and last name.

Senior School Retreats

Senior School Students all participate in a three day series of Fall Camps, combining a mix of outdoor activities, team-building in advisory groups, and academic project work from August 29-September 1. Grade 10 students will spend their time at Camp Squeah, whilst our Grade 11 and 12 students will participate in a variety of activities in the Lower Mainland. All grades will enjoy at least one overnight experience together. Detailed itineraries will be shared with each student during the opening days of school.

The M Store

The M Store offers families discounted options to meet Mulgrave's uniform standards. The Store is on campus and offers us all a responsible way to recycle uniform pieces that no longer fit our children.

To help you prepare for the start of school, the M Store will be open:

Online shopping orders will also be fulfilled throughout the summer.

Labels Made Easy

Be sure to label all of your uniform items and supplies! We have a fundraising account with Mabel's Labels so your order also supports the school. Be sure to select Mulgrave School when you visit their site. We recommend ordering labels with first and last name so they have the best chance of making their way back to their owner.
