Financial Assistance and Affordability
Mulgrave is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible educational experience to all families regardless of financial capabilities and subject to the financial assistance resources we have available. The goal of our Financial Assistance Programme is to ensure that we are helping families overcome financial barriers that would otherwise make it difficult or impossible to pursue or continue with an education at Mulgrave. All of our support is needs-based (we do not offer merit-based scholarships).
All applications for support are assessed through a third party financial services provider who considers family income, expenses, assets, and other circumstantial factors. Mulgrave’s Financial Assistance Committee reviews the applications and allocates funding within the school’s annual budget. It is critical that applicants submit all of the required documentation and information before the annual deadline of January 24, 2025.

"Mulgrave’s Financial Assistance Programme has fundamentally transformed our approach to our children’s education. It has enabled us to prioritize their learning without the constant stress of financial constraints. Knowing that we have access to such a world-class education and a supportive community has allowed us to focus entirely on nurturing their academic and personal growth. The program has opened doors to opportunities that we could have only dreamed of, giving our children a strong foundation for their future."

Our two types of support
"The most special aspects of the programme for us include the exceptional quality of education and the inclusive, supportive community at Mulgrave. Our children have access to a diverse range of academic resources, extracurricular activities, and a network of passionate educators dedicated to their success. The individualized attention they receive has helped them excel academically and personally. Moreover, the financial assistance has made it possible for our children to form lasting friendships and be part of a vibrant community that values diversity and inclusion." - Mulgrave Family
Funding Levels
Funding is provided based on a percentage of tuition, ranging from 5% to 100%. To ensure students are able to fully participate in the Mulgrave experience, ‘wraparound’ support is also provided at some levels.
Important Notes
-
Applications for Financial Assistance require participation from all parents/legal guardians of the student.
-
Impacts on household finances such as a stay at home parent (without young children, elderly dependents or other restrictions to work) will be considered. Minimum wage earnings may be applied to calculations. Similar calculations are applied to reasonable cost of living expenses. Assets such as secondary properties are taken into account within the context of the application.
We want to reassure anyone hesitating to explore financial support, that Mulgrave is a place where every child is valued and supported, regardless of their background. The community at Mulgrave is incredibly welcoming and inclusive, fostering an environment where all students can thrive. The Financial Assistance Programme is discreet and ensures that no child feels isolated or different because of financial support. Parents can rest assured that their child will have every chance of fitting in, and enjoying the same high-quality education and opportunities as their peers. Our own experience has shown that with the support of this program, our children have not only fit in but have thrived and flourished in ways we could never have imagined. - Mulgrave Family
