Out of Province/Country Applications

Once you've submitted your application online, we'll get to know your child and your family from afar. 

• All parent/guardian interviews are conducted online; you will be prompted to book at the appropriate point in the process. If your time zone does not accommodate a meeting within our usual business hours (8:00am-4:00pm Pacific Time), let us know and we will work with you to find an evening or weekend alternative.
• Visits, interviews, and academic assessments for students will be completed remotely. While we would love to meet your child in person, we understand that this is not always feasible nor practical. We will do our best to offer times that are not too late at night or early in the morning for your child, but we also appreciate your flexibility in scheduling as close to our business hours as possible.

  • PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten: a short online visit is conducted with a teacher. It can be difficult to engage children of this age effectively online, but we do not have an expectation that you travel just to attend out scheduled group visits. A teacher will connect with your child through activities such as a story, song, or drawing; we will let you know if any supplies are required for the visit. If your child is in a daycare or preschool already, we may request the opportunity to connect with one of their current caregivers. Please be sure to inform us if your child is not fluent in English.

  • Grades​ ​1 & 2: ​​​an​ ​initial​ ​reading ​assessment​, ​writing sample, and interview is conducted online with a member of our admissions team.

  • Grades 3-11: a comprehensive and adaptive online test, writing sample, and interview is completed by a member of our admissions team. 

Tuition Fees:

International students pay a fee of $7,000 in addition to our tuition and consolidated fees.

All Mulgrave students are required to live in the local area with their parent(s) and/or close relative as legal guardian. The school does not offer a homestay programme nor partner with any such organisations.

Once admitted and full fees paid, the school can provide a letter in support of study visa.

Mulgrave cannot offer any advice about obtaining Canadian residency or visas. If a student visa is delayed due to processing time and attendance is not possible at the start of the school year, candidates are not able to defer acceptance and the offer of admission may be withdrawn.
