Mulgrave Goes to Manhattan - June 29th to July 5, 2012

This weeklong educational trip to New York City is for Grade 9-12 students who are excited about a learning adventure that takes in the sights of this vibrant city. 

During the trip, students will be immersed in the arts at a brilliant level. For seven days and six nights, we visit world renowned theatres, museums, art galleries, and universities located in Manhattan. Students will be impressed with the behind-the -scenes workshops, guided tours, and the gala Broadway productions we have fit into our week in the ‘the city that never sleeps.’ 

This custom designed trip with our students has been a dream for the Fine Arts, Film Studies and Performing Arts teachers at Mulgrave. The dream will take place this coming June. Students and teachers will join with the professional tour guides to make this an unforgettable week that promises to change our understanding of what creative is!

Costs
The cost of the trip depends on the number of students travelling. EF estimates that the cost will range from $2,700 to $3,200.

  • Meet the Dance Artist- Broadway Dance Center
  • Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island
  • MET tour (Highlights or Costume Institute tours)
  • Drama Workshop, NYC

  • Guggenheim Tour & Workshop
  • Museum of the Moving Imagine
  • Joyce Theatre Performance

Included in the Program Fee, which is dependent on the number of students travelling:

  • Round trip airfare
  • Transfers to and from the airport and hotel in New York
  • Overnight in Manhattan hotels with private bathrooms
  • Daily continental breakfast and dinner at popular NY restaurants
  • Full-time services of an EF Tour Director

Not included in the Program Fee:

  • Beverages and lunches

  • Public transportation to free time activities

  • A private tour designed by Donna Sheh, in conjunction with EF Customized Tours
