Ali McTavish, Outdoor Education Coordinator
Since graduating from UBC with a BSc. in Honours Environmental Science, Ms. McTavish has worked in environmental education both in Vancouver and in the United States. This led to her pursuing her passion for the outdoors and completing the Wilderness Leadership Program through Capilano University in 2005. Ms. McTavish has actively explored the outdoors here in BC and around the world; as an expedition sea kayak guide, she has led trips all over the southern coastal BC waters and in Patagonia, Chile. Combining her passions for the environment and outdoor education, teaching is the perfect venue for Ali to share her enthusiasm and energy.
