Leadership

In our rapidly changing and increasingly complex global community, we need strong and diverse leaders. At Mulgrave, we believe that leadership experience and education for youth has become essential to help young people tackle and transform the challenges of today’s “real” world: the responsibilities and needs of life beyond the realms of home and classroom.

Leadership Opportunities

With well over 100 possibilities to engage in leadership initiatives, Mulgrave’s Student Leadership Programme provides of a myriad of enrichment opportunities outside the formal curriculum.

Students can grow in character and practise leadership skills through the Service Programme, the Duke of Edinburgh’s leadership programme, MERT, Grad Leadership, the House Captains system, global citizenship initiatives such as Global Outreach, leadership education (such as workshops, retreats and conferences), the Outdoor Education Programme and other school activities in global citizenship, arts, technology and athletics.

Leadership at Mulgrave

At Mulgrave, we believe leaders are made, not born. Leadership is not an innate trait or gift in an individual reserved for only for the most “accomplished”; all people, all students can be leaders.

Our leadership programme seeks to nurture and develop this potential through a student-centred and student-led experiential model, guided through mentorship, education and lots of experience.
