Mulgrave is an independent, non-denominational co-educational school which is committed to providing an excellent academic programme from Pre-K through Grade 12. We are now inviting applications for a permanent full time position of DP Chemistry and MYP Science Teacher.

This is a key role within the Senior School and the Upper School Science Team and the person appointed will be passionate and enthusiastic about young people, education and Science/Chemistry. They will be responsible for planning and delivering curriculum, curriculum enrichment and co-curricular programmes and for being a Homeroom Advisor. The ideal candidate will have high standards and high expectations of his/her students whilst, at the same time, providing a caring and nurturing environment.

Candidates will be expected to have:

• Canadian residency and be legally entitled to work in Canada
• All the requirements to be certified to teach in British Columbia
• The appropriate background and qualifications for teaching Science
• Knowledge and understanding of the International Baccalaureate programmes, preferably with experience in the DP Programme
• Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme Chemistry and MYP Science
