Fazila is excited to be part of the Alumni Advisory Board. Her experience serving on various boards and her passion for volunteerism has inspired her to give back to the Mulgrave Community. She has an undergraduate degree from McGill University in Political Science and Psychology, where she was also an active member and leader of various clubs including Free the Children, the Dr. Hawa Abdi Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity. These opportunities, and her desire to make a positive impact, sparked her interest in working for both local and international non-profit organizations. Fazila currently lives in Vancouver, and in her free time she enjoys practicing yoga, volunteering in her local community, and planning her travels to new and exciting destinations!
