Athletics - Mulgrave Titans
The goal of Mulgrave's athletic programme is to support its student's emotional, intellectual and physical growth. The programme is designed to serve as an extension of the classroom; where students further develop teamwork, sportsmanship, integrity, and grit.
Starting at the ELC and all the way through Grade 12, athletics is not only encouraged, it is built into the IB curriculum.
Competitively, Mulgrave is home to the Titans (Upper School) and Thunderbolts (Junior School) and these teams represent the school in a wide number of sports starting in Grade 3. At the heart of Mulgrave's competitive programme is the belief in fair play and safe participation in all our activities.
Mulgrave also belongs to a number of different organisations including BC School Sports (BCSS), who oversee all aspects of interscholastic competition including eligibility for all sports under their umbrella.
For students in Grade 8 and above, we enter either the local North Shore Secondary School Athletic Association (NSSSAA) leagues or the Greater Vancouver Independent Schools Athletic Association (GVISAA) leagues.
At the Senior level (Grades 11 & 12), students can compete through to Provincial Championships. Our teams also compete in the Independent Schools Athletic Association (ISAA) Championships, which are held in the Lower Mainland or on Vancouver Island.
