The library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. all school days. The librarians, Ms. Chapin & Mrs. Brough, and the library volunteers are available to guide and assist students and teachers.
Library circulation and reference services include:
- Drop in circulation and reference service during school hours.
- Instruct students on how to search effectively for information in print and online.
- Recommend materials and research tools.
- Locate print, audiovisual and electronic sites for research assignments and units.
- Provide readers' advisory to all grade levels
- Promote literacy through library reading programmes, book promotions and author readings.
Library services available online include:
- Searchable online catalogue of complete library holdings of more than 20.000 titles, 1200 videos & DVD's and many journal subscriptions.
- Direct links to reliable websites related to curriculum accessed from the library catalogue.
- Electonic resources such as Opposing Viewpoints, Global Issues in Context and E-Library Canada accessed from the library homepage.
- Links to Public Libraries.
- Textbook distribution and management.
