SURVEY RESULTS POINT TO STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Over the last several weeks, Mulgrave's leadership team has studied and discussed the feedback shared by parents, teachers, and students through the stakeholder survey first sent in May. Your responses gave us
information about how you perceive various
elements of the educational experience at
Mulgrave, and we are currently using the results to identify improvements and to inform future
communications, strategies, and initiatives.
Our deep gratitude to everyone who made the time to complete this year's survey. Your feedback is instrumental in making Mulgrave everything it can be.
CONGRATULATIONS MULGRAVE ATHLETES
Congratulations to all the award winners from the Athletics Banquet that occurred last Tuesday June 6th! For those who missed the Banquet, it was a wonderful celebration of the 2016-2017 year in Athletics. The highlight of the night was a very memorable and heartwarming speech from former Canadian Paralympic swimmer, Donovan Tildesley, who spoke about his individual journey
through his adolescence as a blind athlete. He turned to competitive swimming as his major focus by the age of nine and through years of dedication and hard work became an Olympic medalist, current world record holder, and eventual flag bearer for Canada at the 2008 Paralympic games! MVP SPOTLIGHT - HELEN JOANNOU
Meet Helen, our MVP Senior School Rep Coordinator and MVP Past President. Helen's signature smile and warmth, which light up any room and immediately make everyone feel welcomed, have set the tone for our MVP-led events for nearly a decade.
Helen, her husband Andrew, and their two daughters (Angie '15 and Joanna G11) have been integral and active members of the Mulgrave community since joining the school in 2007. Over the past decade, Helen has selflessly and tirelessly served the school in a great
number of ways, including volunteering as a Member of the Board Nominating Committee, as well as the Strategic Planning Committee. Click here to get to know Helen in our final MVP Spotlight of the year.
PEOPLE OF MULGRAVE: AIDEN C. & LAUREN M. (G11)
This week, at our last Whole School Assembly of the year, we were graced by the words of our incoming Head Boy and Head Girl - Aiden C. and Lauren M. As they thanked Nicholas and Daisy (our outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl) for their exceptional leadership this year, Lauren and Aiden took a moment to share their hopes for the coming year and their excitement to work as a Prefect Team to further the school's vision. We caught up with Lauren and Aiden after the Grace Assembly to chat more about their plans for next year. Watch our interview here.
