CELEBRATING THE ARTS
By: Katherine Kohler
In this issue, we celebrate the accomplishments and the artistry of our students within the Arts Programme. In a time where the culture of Arts is threatened in the media and within education, we are fortunate to have a Programme that is both thriving and growing.
We have recently been asked what has attributed to our success.
The answer is very simple; our student's voices are our driving force.
YOU'RE INVITED TO: ONCE UPON A CAUTIONARY TALE
Beware of strangers. Don't take a bite of a poisoned apple. Oh, and also, never, ever go into darkened woods alone. These are just a few of the lessons our G6 students will share with us in their upcoming Junior School theatre production - Once Upon a Cautionary Tale.
Tickets are on sale now for the May 4th performance, which will take place in the Linda Hamer Theatre. Doors will open at 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start time and reserved seating is available. Will our protagonists be doomed to a grisly fate, or will their wit save the day? You'll have to come see; and, if you do, on your way into school, beware of any big bad wolves.

THE MEANING OF PERSONALISATION
By: Gordon MacIntyre
In the late 1940s, the US Air Force experienced an epidemic of crashes involving several different types of aircraft. Many of the accidents were attributed to pilot error and, in the course of investigating the causes, Air Force officials re-examined the design of the cockpit itself, which had been based on the average physical dimensions of pilots from 1926. In 1950, the Air Force hired researcher Gilbert Daniels from
Harvard to ascertain the degree of fit between pilots and the cockpit dimensions, which he defined as a pilot whose measurements across 10 physical characteristics were within the middle 30 percent of the range. Continue Reading >>
CELEBRATING THE CLASS OF 2017
This week, our G12s are finishing up their final week of their Mulgrave career and are celebrating with events like the Grad Farewell Assembly, Memory Lane, the Grad BBQ, and, of course, a few grad pranks pulled on the teachers!
As we bid farewell to the Class of 2017, our alumni network grows by 69 new bright, caring, and ambitious individuals.
As difficult as it is to say goodbye to their peers, teachers, and the school, it's important for our grads to know that even though they are moving on, they are still very much a part of the Mulgrave community. We wish them luck on their exams and look forward to officially welcoming them as alumni in June.

TITANS CORNER - CONGRATULATIONS JUSTIN
Congratulations to Justin Abrary on being selected for the 2016 North Shore's Second All-Star Team for Senior Boys Soccer. Justin, a natural central attacking midfielder, was the only G10 that made the All-Star Team - a well-deserved selection due to his fierce competitiveness and tenacious work ethic, both of which he brought to the field every game. He was one of the Senior Boys' most prolific scorers and was extremely valuable to the team as one of its most dangerous strikers.
