A Holiday Message from Mr. Wierenga and Mr. Wray
Posted 12/15/2016 07:24PM

When our needs are easily fulfilled, it is easy to forget the suffering of others, and it is even easier to take for granted the health and vitality that so many of us enjoy. But in remembering to acknowledge all that we have, we deepen our appreciation for the day to day living we do and, hopefully, we will also remember to give back to our local communities and even beyond. Whether you participate in a clothing or food drive (as many of you already did through the student initiatives at Mulgrave), take care of an elderly relative or neighbour, or simply share what you are grateful for as you sit around the dinner table, we hope that you will experience the satisfaction of sharing with others.

Upon our return to school in the New Year, we hope that everyone will be filled with a bright new energy that will carry us through the second half of the year and that will inspire a re-commitment to both your individual goals and those of our collective community. After the unsettling global headlines of the last few months, we realise that there is a lot of work do be done, much of which is connected to education. We look forward to 2017 and the progress the Mulgrave community both individually and collectively can make to further our mission to make a difference in the world.

Happiest of holidays to you and your family. May the magic of the season envelop you all!

Warm regards,

Harry Wierenga
