Trips to Provincials, medals and great upsets were a few of the highlights that marked the end of our fall term sports season. As remarkable as those are, what makes the season a great one is our Titans and their leadership, sportsmanship and motivation to always give 100%. This month, we celebrate Gabriella Novak, Jose Vergani, Charlotte Armstrong and Andrew Horner - the October Athletes of the Month as voted on by the Athletics Council. Gabi (G8) and Charlotte (G10) have had a very successful season with the Junior Girls Cross Country team and they were both major factors in the team qualifying for Provincials tomorrow Saturday, November 5th in Kelowna. Jose (G8) is captain of the Junior Boys Soccer Team - his leadership and strong, consistent play as centre defensive midfield was paramount to the success of the team as a whole. Andrew (G10) is an extremely committed member to the Upper School Swim Team. He is a tireless worker, shows great pride in improvement and loves all competition. He was also a key member in the Swim Team qualifying for Provincials!
