SSAT

All students applying for the Middle and Senior School are required to sit the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT).  Occasionally, alternate arrangements can be arranged. There are two levels of the SSAT Mulgrave requires:

  • SSAT Lower Level for students applying to Grades 7 and 8
  • SSAT Upper Level for students applying to Grades 9 through 11

The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) consists of two parts: a brief essay and three multiple choice tests, including verbal, quantitative (math) and reading comprehension sections. Read more about each section on the SSAT website.

Please refer to SSAT Flex Test Program for test locations to suit you.

In order for applicants to be considered for admission, families must request that the SSAT score be sent directly to the school. When registering for the test, please enter the Score Recipient Code of 5263 for Mulgrave School.
