Technology

We want our students and faculty to have access to the tools and technologies that let them work at their best. Historically, the school has thought “best” was telling students and teachers what device they must use and what software they must install on it.

But as we know, a one-size-fits-all really fits no one.

Mulgrave School wants to make learning personal. So we are really excited this year to start the school on a path that will give choice back to the users--your children and our faculty. This fall we are launching three new initiatives in educational technology that we believe will dramatically change the way we all use technology to support teaching and learning:

  • a 1:1 iPad program in our Junior School
  • a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program for Grade 7 students
  • a school-wide move to Google Apps for Education.

We are completely re-writing these pages to reflect our exciting new programs so please watch this space for more details coming soon.

Mulgrave’s Apple on Campus store opens!

Mulgrave School has joined forces with Apple to create the Apple on Campus K-12
program. With this program, the goal is to provide students and their parents with a full range of Apple hardware, software and peripherals at excellent prices.

If you choose to purchase an Apple product for school, we recommend that you shop on our school’s online store.

The online store is a fully secure site, and it’s accessible via the Mulgrave School intranet site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. What’s more, you’ll find our hardware recommendations to purchase, and once you buy you’ll get free delivery right to your doorstep.

If you have any additional questions about Apple products, feel free to call the friendly Apple experts over the telephone at 1-800-MY-APPLE to get the answers you are looking for.

If you have any questions about Mulgrave School’s technology requirements, please see our website or contact our Director of Educational Technology,
Brad Ovenell-Carter.
