Focusing on the development of the whole child, our programme encourages students to:

• Actively explore their world.
• Discover new information.
• Develop language and critical thinking skills.
• Apply their ideas in meaningful ways.  

Children engage in an inquiry-based approach to learning at the ELC. Literacy and numeracy skills are introduced, and the programme is closely complemented by play-based active learning.

We believe that play is vital to a child’s early development and hands-on discovery is the best tool for early learning.

Our teachers recognise that some children learn best through movement, some by working with logic, some through touching and manipulating information, and still others by verbally processing information.  A sense of mastery and confidence as a competent learner is the platform for life-long educational success.
